Thanks Jordan’s Program services are intended to improve the quality of life for children with cancer. This is done by providing the following programs: financial assistance, emotional support, advocacy, and educational information to children with cancer and their families; This makes it possible for children and their families to “Celebrate Life”, in every facet.

Financial Assistance

Thanks Jordan provides financial assistance for medical and non-medical expenses related to treatment for children with cancer, including:

• Cancer treatments
• Meals - home and away on Clinic Days
• Pharmaceuticals
• Long distance calling cards
• Transportation and gas cards
• Lodging if needed
• Family services such as counseling
• Health Insurance Assistance
• Marie's “Make A Wish” Angel Network

Advocacy

Thanks Jordan locates cancer resources for families and helps find and negotiate solutions for a child's care with insurance companies, hospitals and other agencies.

Emotional Support

• Counseling for parents, siblings and other caregivers of children with cancer. Here, parents can share experiences, gather information, and support each other in a compassionate environment.
• Caring and professional staff offer compassion, empathy and hope to parents as they cope with their child's cancer diagnosis.
• Kids WILL Be Kids - Provides normalcy to children with cancer and their families by letting them engage on some levels in all the activities their peers are.
